A Southern Giant Petrel (or Antarctica Giant Petrel) with the scientific name "macronectes giganteus" glides at low level showing its reflection over a totally calm Fournier Bay, Anvers Island, Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica on the morning of 5 February 2020. Treated in Black & White (BW) and orange Selective Color (SC) processing. Its head is fed by Rhesus, Thamyris, Kleptuza and Altimir Glaciers. The bay was probably first seen by a German expedition, 1873–74, under Eduard Dallmann. I have focused on Bald Eagle photography for the past 9 years since I retired by photographing them in the Washington, DC area along the Potomac River and Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River near the Maryland/Delaware/Pennsylvania border. During our world travels as a geography major and photo enthusiast, I have developed a fascination with various...
