An American Bald Eagle patiently squeezes a solo Ring-necked Duck on the frozen Potomac River by Fort Washington National Park. This unsuspecting duck is about to be dinner at sunset for a bald eagle in this "circle of life" series of photos taken on 22 February 2015.
