A peaceful red leaf floating in the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal (C&O Canal) at the Great Falls National Historic Park in Potomac, Maryland with fall colors. There is also a bike path along the canal and a visitor center nearby. The U.S. National Park Service runs this historic landmark. Visitors can even ride the hourlong pocket boat Charles F. Mercer along the canal around Great Falls.
