Description
STS Lord Nelson, a sailing "tall ship" commissioned by the Jubilee Sailing Trust to be the ‘flagship’ for the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s mission to enable people with disabilities to sail. The keel was laid in October 1984 and named Lord Nelson by HRH Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, who performed the ceremony on July 4th 1986. She was completed on 17 October 1986 at Vosper Thornycroft’s yard in Woolston, Southampton, United Kingdom. Photo taken in Hamilton, Bermuda at the Front Street Dock on 12 March 2015.
